- Newsletter signup: your email address, and the date you subscribed.
- Contact form: your name, email address, chosen subject and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically
- Server and analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, browser and device type.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy for the full list.
- Local storage: if you save a recipe, the recipe identifier is stored in your own browser. It never reaches our servers.
Why we use it
- To send the newsletter you asked for, and only that.
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To understand which recipes are useful so we can write more of them.
- To display advertising, where relevant, and to measure whether it works.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse of our forms.

Advertising

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@moroccancooks.com and we will respond within 30 days. Every newsletter also carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are rate limited, and access to subscriber data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the data we hold.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and we will move the “last updated” date above. Material changes affecting newsletter subscribers will be announced by email.
