We display advertising on some pages. Ads are clearly separated from the recipes and articles, and advertisers have no influence over what we write or which dishes we cover.

Some links to products — a tagine pot, a spice, a piece of equipment — are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
Where we participate in the Amazon Associates Programme, we earn from qualifying purchases. Any such link is disclosed on the page where it appears.
Our rules for recommendations
- We only link to things we would use or have used ourselves.
- We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review or a recommendation.
- If a cheaper or better option exists, we say so, even when it earns us nothing.
- Sponsored content, if we ever publish it, will be labelled clearly at the top of the page.
Why we disclose this
Beyond being the right thing to do, it is required by the US Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guidelines and by equivalent consumer protection rules in the UK, the EU and elsewhere.
